BUYER AND BREEDER PUPPY SALES CONTRACT

Description of puppy:
A chihuahua puppy which is in good
health at the time of sale and has received age appropriate shots and dewormings. The puppy described and pictured here is
sold for the sum of $________.
A non refundable deposit of _________ has been placed on this puppy
with
a remaining balance of __________due at the time of pick-up or
delivery. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something was
to happen to
the said puppy still in BREEDER"S care.
The PUPPY is ___________coat____sex______color__________Birthdate.
The total payment is due in
full at the time the BUYER takes delivery
of or pick-up of the puppy.
This PUPPY is purebred and will be sold with his/her
appropriate CKC registration papers. All pups are registered with
CKC.
BREEDER does not guarantee any show qualities, breeding qualities or
adult size. We can only estimate the adult
size and weight of the
PUPPY and it should be considered only as an estimate.
The BREEDER does not assume any liability for
any injury
to said puppy or veterinarian bills after delivery or pick-up of the
PUPPY to the BUYER. The BREEDER guarantees
the above dog to be healthy
at the time of the sale.
The BUYER agrees to have the puppy examined
by a
veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery or pick-up. If the puppy is
found to be other than healthy by the BUYER"S
veterinarian, it shall be
returned to the BREEDER within 48 HOURS of the veterinarian's
examination.
The Purchase price will be refunded if the puppy is returned
within the above stated time period along with a copy of
the documented
health problem from the BUYER"S veterinarian. The BREEDER is not
responsible for any veterinarian charges
the BUYER may incur for this
health check. The PUPPY may not be returned if it is found to have
worms, as this is
a normal occurrence in puppies and is easily
treatable and curable.
The BREEDER offers a ONE MONTH guarantee against genetic
defects. If a veterinarian decides within one month
from the purchase
date that the PUPPY is suffering from a congenital, life-threatening
disease, the BREEDER will replace
the said puppy with another puppy of
equal value. The puppy will be returned to the BREEDER along with
documentation
of the illness before a replacement is given. No CASH
REFUNDS will be given.
AT the BREEDER'S sole discretion the PUPPY may be returned to
the
BREEDER within 72 hours of taking delivery or pick-up of the PUPPY.
In all cases, the BREEDER will withhold 10% of the
total purchase price
of the puppy to cover additional costs to the BREEDER IE: (further
shots,advertisements and care
of the puppy).
The PUPPY has received age appropriate shots and the standard
treatment for worms. A record of the treatments has been provided to
the BUYER. The BUYER agrees to maintain the puppy;s
health in good
condition, continue the necessary puppy shots, provide examinations,
vaccinations, monthly heartworm
preventative and any other procedures
necessary to assure good health.
The BREEDER has done everything possible to produce healthy,
sound puppies by raising the puppies in the best way possible
in
regards to diet, exercise, socialization and verterinary care. There
are many factors that can influence groth
and development, such as
diet, exercise, weight gain, etc. The BUYER assumes all of the
responsibilities to carry
on with the appropriate vaccinations,
exercise and feeding schedule, as explained by the BREEDER. The BREEDER
can
offer no further guarantees once the care of the puppy is no longer
under their control.
The BUYER acknowledges that the PUPPY"S BREED CHIHUAHUA
is only suited for an indoor environment and should not be outside for very long periods of time or without being
accompanied by the BUYER or another responsible adult.
The PUPPY must be housed indoors. Extra care must be taken to protect
the puppy from self-injury due to falls from stairs, chairs, laps,
couches, beds etc. The puppy may try to jump from
heights it cannot
safely handle.
NOTE!!! Small puppies are prone
to hypoglycemia, "low blood
sugar", In small puppies this can be triggered by infrequent feeding.
It manifests itself
with limpness or rigidity, poor mobility and
sometimes unconsciousness or seizures. If this occurs, the puppy should
be
kept warm and given some kind of sugar, such as Karo syrup, and
immediately be taken to the veterinarian. A young puppy
should have
access to dry food and water at all times. There will be NO guarantee
for death caused by hypoglycemia.
Please read, sign and date the
enclosed sheet provided for you on this subject and be informed. You
will be given
a copy of this signed paper along with the SIGNED PUPPY
SALES CONTRACT.
The BREEDER neither makes nor implies any warranties or
guarantees, expressed or implied, other than those written in
this
agreement including, without limitation, the warranties of
merchantability and fitness. This document constitutes
the entire
agreement between the BREEDER and the BUYER with respects to this sale.
The BUYER"S signature below indicates that he/she has read, agrees to and does understand all of the conditions of this sales
agreement and Contract of the sale.
